Our Purpose:
Abundant Life exists to magnify the Lord our God by bringing people, who live within surrounding towns of our church, an opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as Savior at their own level and life's situation. We are committed to developing them to Christ-like maturity, equipping them for ministry in the church and world, under the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 22:37-40)
Our Mission
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19&20
About the Church
This church is nearly 60 years old, but has a brand new building. We are a contemporary, friendly, and casual church. Though we are a growing church, everyone still feels needed and loved. The church began in Salem, CT and moved to Colchester in the 1960’s. In 2004, the church ran out of room and began construction on 16 acres of land. Services began in the new building on July 31, 2006. We believe the church’s best years are ahead. There are many changes needed to make this church successful. If you are not involved in a church, and you live close by, come give us a visit.
